I can post the best grinding spots in this tier, but I’ll need to find the best of the best for it to even come close to “levefishing” this tier. I’ve been experimenting with all sorts of holes and lures in this tier but it’s simply too hard to justify NOT using leves in this final push to 50. Short on Snails and Skippers? Use Stem Borer. Overall I would recommend Ceruleum Field, using Honeyworm (Generic catch-all bait). Luckily you can catch all three of this fish in either Ceruleum Field (NTH), or North Silvertear (MDA). (?) 3 Ilsabardian Bass : Ceruleum Field, NTH | Mooch from Topwater Frog > Glowwormīoltfish sucks – It’s the “Golden Loach” of this tier. (?) 3 Boltfish : Ceruleum Field, NTH | Mooch from Silverfish (?) 3 Sludgeskipper : Ceruleum Field, NTH | Stem Borer > Glowworm (?) 3 Ignus Snail : Ceruleum Field, NTH | Stem Borer > Glowworm Use a Floating Minnow and try to catch HQ Harbor Herring > HQ Ogre Barracuda > Mazlaya Marlin. It’ll take around 40 tries on average to fish one of these up. Where to find Mazlaya Marlin? These are DOUBLE MOOCHES, and can be quite troublesome to get on your own. Using Topwater Frog as your lure, you have an 80+% chance to sfish up Northern Pike, which is a levequest fish for this tier too. Not the best grinding spot compared to lower tiers, but grinding spots are pretty thin in this level Go to CCH, Exploratory Icehole. Fortunately you can catch the rest of these fish in The Nail (CCH).įSH Level ~40-45 Grinding Head to the Burning Wall, but this time pack some Stem Borers.
If you really want to catch some Golden Loach, go to Forgotten Spring and load up on Honeyworm. There’s really no way to catch these in a way where simply grinding isn’t better. Use Hoverworms, which you can buy right at Whitebrim, too. Cloudfishing is unlocked at 45, so don’t try it before then. Where to find Cloud Cutter? Right outside Whitebrim in CCH. Level 45 Fishing Levequests: Mor Dhona,St. Staying in Sagoili until 37 is great, then go ahead and move to The Nail in CCH. It’s a strange leve tier due to how rare the fish are in holes you can access at this level. You can also find Raincallers in Gridania Marketboard :).
